LATEST UPDATES:

APRIL 13:

New picture sleeve from Iran found for the Golden Record label

The second record was known to exist, but the gatefold sleeve and even the fact
that it is a double EP is completely new

Some new tapes

Germany Greatest Hits with paper labels

and an odd one from MFP in the UK that has a wrap-around paperboard cover

APRIL 9:

Digital single from the forthcoming Incredible! CD reissue
This pair of songs is available as of April 19.

Created new pages for these BBC Radioplay promo only LPs & CD

The CD version is not on Discogs and was previouly unknown

MARCH 31

Just announced...another Davy Jones 7A release: Incredible!
For release on May 17 (May 24 in the USA).

The blue vinyl is limited to 1000 copies. The liner notes are said to be with the LP too,
which would be nice as usually 7A only includes them with the CD.

MARCH 17

A new LP find with a unique cover from Ecuador!

And a recently find from the estate of Marty Eck, this RCA cassette from Canada

It was not known that RCA released any tapes in Canada, so this is an extraordinary find.

Exciting to see new discoveries are still being made after all these years.

MARCH 9:

Created a new page for this single. The B-side (Buttermilk) was recorded circa '63-64
which makes this one of the earliest known Nesmith vocals.

Do Not Ask For Love was covered by the Monkees, but not seeing an official release until
Missing Links Vol. 2

On Facebook this week (3.13.24) Bill Chadwick had this to say:

"Mike is on it....I loaded up a bus that Randy Sparks provided and corralled everyone
signed to his company. Included were: myself, Mike Nesmith, Niles Brown, Del Ramos,
John London, Randy Sterling, Carol Strom, Owens Castleman, Michael Murphy
and the entire Back Porch Majority. Even I can’t recall who sang what,
especially since multiple people sang the same parts - Randy thought
it broadened the sound. I thought it muddled the track;
that is probably why it is impossible to figure who sang what."

MARCH 4:

Created a new page for Davy's first LP on Warner Japan from way back in 2014
