these 6 albums for the first time on CD.


Arista had issued the first 4 CDs previously
in 1987-89 in the USA, with these same mixes.

"The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees" and "Instant Replay"
however, are unique to Japan and much sought after by collectors.
In Japan, and most foreign countries, IR was released before "Head".
If the series had continued that would have been the next release.

In 1994 Rhino obtained the rights to the entire
Monkees catalog and the series was discontinued.

The release date of Japanese CDs are found on the OBI strip
or the back of the CD. However, for CDs released
from 1984-91 only a letter represents the year:

N (1984), I (1985), H (1986), O (1987), R (1988), E (1989), C (1990), D (1991)
