Andrew Sandoval said that the release order was picked
by VP of A&R Gary Stewart who felt people might buy
a bad album (Changes) and a mediocre one (Birds & Bees)
if it were paired with a good one (first album).

Columbia Record Club (CRC) released all 9 CDs
whereas BMG only did the first 5.

The first edition CDs included a trading card with a proof of purchase
that you could cut off and send them (all 9) to Rhino for a FREE Monkee watch.
The music club and foreign editions did not come with the card.
