Old Gold
Lightning Records started as an importer and distributor of Golden Oldies.
In 1978, the company began licensing records and issuing them on the Old Gold label.
The singles were regularly re-pressed, and each were given whatever style of label was current
at that time leading to at least 5 label variations for the Monkees. (from 45-sleeves.com)
The sleeves with the scrolling banner were released in the early to mid 80s.
Whereas the sleeves with the diamond shaped banner include the text
"CD singles, LPs, tapes and compact discs" and were licensed
from BMG Records
which didn't exist before 1987.
Also issued in Ireland.
