UPDATE HISTORY
2025
DECEMBER
DECEMBER 16:
A new find: (I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone is added to the US Army's "The In Sound" page
Hard to believe this one hasn't surfaced before

DECEMBER 11:
Rhino formally announces The A's, The B's & The Monkees coming January 30
It will also be on CD which you can pre-order at the Monkees Rhino Store.

DECEMBER 10:
Added the RCA Stereo 8 Sampler for Nesmith's Nevada Fighter (May 1971)
and a better copy of Oh My My from the Changes Stereo 8 (July 1970)

DECEMBER 6:
A new find! Recently a copy of Birds appeared on Discogs that was pressed in Switzerland.
RCA used the German sleeve, with the copyrights covered over.
This is the first known studio release from this country.
Like Germany, it was pressed in stereo.

DECEMBER 2:
A second copy of this incredibly hard to find early Nesmith single has recently surfaced -
acquired
by collector Stephen Wright

An unused giant counter display has been found for their second LP.
There was a ton of promotional material created for The Monkees releases,
however most of it was thrown away or lost over time.

DECEMBER 1:
Micky's King For A Day on vinyl from Friday Records. It was supposed to be Red Velvet,
but this copy had some black mixed in, as always with Friday, YMMV.
The gold vinyl at least looks fine.

I believe this Greatest Hits on "Sunspot Orange
Hand Poured Effect Vinyl"
has now been released.
