The cases were designed to look like an old record player,
with speakers under the lid and a turntable on the bottom.
The DVDs sat inside a slipcase with cardboard springs underneath
to simulate the way these the speakers & turntables 'floated' inside the case.
They look great but don't age very well as they tend to break down and fall apart.
The liner notes by Andrew Sandoval are good, but very brief.
Highlights for Season 2 include commentaries by everyone
and the "33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee" TV Special.
