"Girl" is famous for Davy performing it on the Brady Bunch episode
"Getting Davy Jones" which aired on December 10, 1971.

The song was originally written for the movie "Star Spangled Girl"
but the movie bombed and despite the TV promotion the record
was poorly received and did not chart.

However due to the BB reruns and the popularity of Davy,
this single commands a high price on the secondary market today
(if you can find one for sale).

This is probably Davy's best known record.
